Video Archives of Council Meetings Available Again

The City of Pointe-Claire wishes to inform you that the preventive maintenance work carried out by its webcasting service provider has now been completed.

The necessary security updates have been implemented on the platform, and video recordings of municipal council meetings are once again available online.

The City thanks residents for their patience.

Service Interruption – Temporary Unavailability of Council Meeting Video Archives

October 22, 2026

The City of Pointe-Claire has been informed by its webcasting provider that the website hosting the City Council meeting videos is currently undergoing preventive maintenance. This intervention is related to the major security vulnerability PHP2Shell affecting the PHP programming language, which was reported by the media on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, and may affect nearly 70% of websites worldwide.

The website will be unavailable while updates are being carried out to install the necessary security patches and protect the platform. Please be assured that this situation is temporary and that the provider is working to restore service as quickly as possible.

In the meantime, residents who wish to consult a Council meeting may contact the Legal Affairs and City Clerk’s Office to submit their request.

For inquiries, please email greffe@pointe-claire.ca or call 514-630-1228.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.
